Head of Government Relations

AnChain.AI is a blockchain start-up based in Silicon Valley. US-based remote OK.

We are looking for an experienced Head of Government Relations to join our team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for developing and implementing AnChain.AI’s government relations strategy and initiatives at the international, federal, state, and local levels on issues that are relevant to the company’s vision, mission and goals.

Responsibilities

• Articulate and represent AnChain.AI’s policy positions in an impactful, persuasive, and bipartisan manner.
• Manage existing relationships with our government clients/prospects.
• Create new relationships/leads with other US-based government agencies.
• Establish relationships with international government agencies.
• Be proactive in finding open tenders for blockchain analytics tools.
• Apply to those tenders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in public policy, political science, or other legal studies required or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years of Government affairs experience, preferably relating to cryptocurrency and blockchain. Experience at the federal level preferred.
• Successful track record in building and maintaining strong relationships at all levels of a corporate and governmental organization
• Passionate and up to date on the cryptocurrency ecosystem.
• Self-motivated, strategic and analytical thinker, personable, organized, sees the bigger picture.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
• Must be able to operate independently, manage multiple competing priorities with deadlines, and exhibit a sense of urgency when necessary.
