We're looking for a Sr. Compensation Manager who will collaborate within PeopleOps and across functions and levels of management to develop and maintain compensation frameworks in North America and internationally, implement compensation programs via tools and training and support, automate and administer global compensation activities. The Sr. Compensation Manager will also provide consultation in compensation matters to employees and PeopleOps. Support may include analytical projects related to assessing the impact of current total rewards programs, market data analysis including recommending changes to programs, development of pay budgets, and proposing new total rewards programs to support achievement of strategic business initiatives.

The ideal candidate knows the in’s and out’s of compensation and understands the challenges of tech and crypto, and thrives in a fast-paced organization with multiple constituencies ranging from engineering to product and creative.

  • As the compensation expert and best practice resource, provide analytic support in the design, development and implementation of business group specific and global compensation practices and programs including administration, data analysis, research and compensation cost modeling
  • Lead global market compensation analysis process, evaluate our rewards programs (cash and long-term compensation) competitiveness relative to our compensation philosophy and principles, recommending changes to our salary structures and other reward programs for all roles
  • Accurately interpret, counsel, communicate, and educate People Operations, recruiters, managers, and executives on pay decisions, policies and guidelines for relevant employee and candidate transactions, partnering to make recommendations based on data
  • Build models and tools to make compensation analysis and decision support accessible to PeopleOps and managers globally, empowering team members to engage in thoughtful analysis and effective pay management
  • Maintain survey provider relationships and survey data submissions; Develop and participate in annual and ad hoc compensation surveys to collect and analyze competitive salary information to determine company's competitive position
  • Prepare for and lead annual bottom up reviews providing guidelines, decision support such as compa ratio data, mechanisms to make internal comparisons with roll up of recommendations for level by level management approval
  • Drive automation for efficiency and data integrity; Work with HRIS on global salary and job structures
  • Participate in staffing processes to attract and retain highly sought-after talent: perform job evaluations and craft job descriptions, provide market job match recommendations and compensation data points for job requisitions, annual operating plan budgeting and internal and external offers
  • Support our equity and token budgeting, and 409A work

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field (HR, business, finance, or other technical degree) or related experience
  • Excellent Excel/Google Sheet skills and attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication with experience presenting and interacting with senior leaders
  • Skilled in making inferences and recommendations based on data sets
  • Compensation analytics and benchmarking experience

You would have a competitive advantage if you:
  • Have experienced IPO
  • Understand Radford and its dataset
