We're looking for a detail oriented Sanctions Screening Analyst to help us review and accurately disposition adverse media, politically exposed persons (PEP), and sanctions alerts related to new and existing users. Beyond reviewing alerts, the Sanctions Screening Analyst will work with our internal teams and screening vendors to a create sustainable workflows, escalation paths, and establish a feedback loop to constantly improve our tools effectiveness and user's experience.

Our ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the ability to make important decisions and the appropriate action to take, e.g. closing alerts or escalate to the next level. Lastly, the candidate should possess a thirst for knowledge, desire to grow in their role and beyond, and of course, eagerness to keep our community safe.

What we'll accomplish together:
  • Protect the company through a robust screening program built to identify potential sanctions/PEP relationships.
  • Clearing of any potential matches for sanctions/pep/or adverse media.
  • Assist in tracking, documenting, and reporting metrics to identify Key Performance Indicators in sanctions to management.
  • Continue to fine tune our screening processes and procedures to ensure compliance with modern regulations.
  • Identify trends through metrics and reporting to help guide future decisions of the Compliance Team.
  • Work with a distinguished group of colleagues that will help expand your skills beyond the world of screening.
  • Be a proud member of a pioneering compliance program that will dominate the digital collectibles space.

A little about you:
  • You are capable of applying your skills across a variety of use cases; inflexible specialists need not apply.
  • You have OFAC Screening experience as you have done this before.
  • You are familiarity with PEP, negative media, and SDN risks.
  • You have experience with Lexis Nexis, Dunn & Bradstreet, ComplyAdvantage, World-Check, or similar solutions.
  • Have the ability to determine false positives and true matches with minimal supervision.
  • We believe in processes and the power of planning, but you will often have to roll with the punches and prioritize the most impactful tasks on the fly.
  • Deep understanding of the regulatory AML/BSA and OFAC requirements and appropriate risk-mitigation actions.
  • Knowledge of Cryptocurrency and NFTs a plus.
  • Ability to research and analyze internal data and external research.
