KLKTN (pronounced “collection”) is an entertainment tech company that uses cutting-edge blockchain technology to improve and augment the way creative work is shared, sold, and experienced.

This start-up was co-founded by tech and music veterans distributed in Vancouver, Hong Kong, and Tokyo.


Looking for a smart, experienced software engineer passionate for creating innovative products, building with speed and quality.

Our team has interesting conversations on a daily basis, we learn and grow with each other, bounce ideas and decide what the way to go based on pragmatic decisions to build the best product we can for our artists and fans!

Out tech stack on the FE is: Typescript, React, Styled Components, Next.js, REST


Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the front end foundation
  • Work closely and collaboratively with BE + product setup short and mid term goals
  • Set realistic sprint goals and help the team execute on it
  • Efficiently improves the components as you go
  • Providing contributions to improve user experience
  • Cover critical areas with automated tests


Requirements:

  • 3+ years hands on software development experience
  • Worked on small, fast teams and gets lots done
  • Solid understanding of Javascript || Typescript
  • Mastery of component based framework (React / Vue / etc.) and common patterns
  • Proficient with Git and has basic experience with Unix command-line tools
  • HTML | CSS | SASS | Styled Components
  • Next.js is a nice to have


Compensation Package:

  • Annual Salary: CAD 120k ~ 150k
  • Stock Options: .15% ~ .4%
